The New Inn
Sowood
A very warm welcome from The New Inn Public House and Restaurant at Sowood, conveniently located between Halifax and Huddersfield. We provide fabulous home cooked food in friendly and relaxed surroundings with views stretching over Calderdale and beyond. We have a large outdoor area for you to enjoy those rare summers days and we have plenty of parking as well as being right next to the local bus stop.In addition to our popular menu we also have a fantastic selection of Real Ales, (Timothy Taylor’s Etc) and a great choice of other beers, largers, wines and spirits
Gringos
Huddersfield
Gringo’s in Huddersfield is certainly gaining a reputation as one of the best restaurants to hit West Yorkshire. Serving Mexican dishes in a warm atmosphere of orange and purple design, it is a vibrant and happening place to eat and chill out.Years of traveling in Indonesia, Australia, Fiji and America, experimenting with foods and cultures, has given Chris Lee and Ben Franco the experience and individuality to offer dinners exciting creations. And it is paying off. The restaurant is becoming a haven for those wanting quality food and service. With a specials menu that knows no comparison and a main menu offering traditional delights such as fajitas, chimichaga and enchilada, there is something for everyone. The décor is a funky mix of 1960s refurbished furniture, distinctive wall designs and shattered bullet proof glass in frames! It has a reputation which is attracting customers from as far as Leeds and Manchester while at the same time putting Huddersfield firmly on the map.“it has exceeded all expectations” said thirty year old Chris “Gringo’s was a plan we had years ago but didn’t feel it was the right time. Then we decided to go ahead and it has just taken off” The guys are adamant that everything should be done the way they want it and they have worked hard to get everything exactly right. Chris added “Passion is our motivation and we knew in our hearts that this was the way it should work”.“from the way the restaurant has been designed through to the style of music and the food, everything has been decided by ourselves.”
Design House Restaurant
Town Centre
Award Winning Cuisine Acclaimed By All Major Food Guides. This ultra modern design orientated restaurant, with its steel and etched glass and furniture by Philippe Starck, provides a contrasting style to the listed Dean Clough Arts and Business complex in Halifax. The restaurant offers a superb award-winning cuisine and an extensive wine list. Although it is sophisticated, the ambience is relaxed and informal, with a fantastic value for money menu with high quality cuisine and service. Our bar area is licensed to midnight and stocks an excellent selection of wine by the glass and numerous specialty beers from around the world. In addition to this, our gourmet coffee facilities will provide the perfect wake-up call using a state-of-the-art Faema machine to get the best out of the freshly ground coffee beans.

Bradleys
Town Centre
Bradford-born Andrew Bradley learnt his trade at the Michelin-starred Box Tree at Ilkley before a spell as restaurant manager at Clarks Bistro in Bradford in the 1990s. Today he owns and runs two eponymous restaurants in Yorkshire – this one in Huddersfield and more recently he has taken over and rebranded his former workplace, Clarks. Both Bradleys offer a winning combination of clean, contemporary design, accomplished modern British cooking and reasonable prices. Bradleys is open for lunch weekdays and in the evenings Monday-Saturday with an early bird menu available every night. Bradleys also has a successful and well-established outside catering arm which catered for more than 70 weddings in 2007
