The Moorlands Inn has been in the same familys' hands since 1994 and things that are important to us have never changed. We hope that everything you would expect from a great country pub you will find here... a warm and friendly welcome, cask conditioned ales, cosy log burning fire in winter, quiz nights, all-day-long bar snacks and classic British Pub food in all is glory. We pride ourselves on our Traditional Sunday Roasts, or try our award winning Homemade Pie with a suet pastry crust; we have worked from the same recipe for over 30 years, its guaranteed comfort food.
But we also like to keep pace too and are always looking to improve and offer our customers something new.
Our menu and specials boards change regularly and offer a wide variety of dishes from homemade curries, surf and turf steak, chargrilled scallops and gourmet burgers to fantastic cheesecakes, knickerbocker glories, speciality ice creams and much more....
Our kitchen team are dedicated to producing the very best quality dishes for our customers, continually upgrading and improving the produce we use and sourcing local ingredients; all our fresh meat,dairy and vegetables are sourced locally and our bread is supplied by ASA Nicholson of Keelham.
If you are planning a visit with children we now have our new Adventure Playground for them to enjoy.
Evening entertainment includes our popular Quiz Nights every Wednesday and Thursday-they start at 9pm and Live Music on selected Fridays and Bank Holiday Sundays from 9pm.
Our 'Open Mic' Night on Tuesdays attracts some really talented local singers and musicians-please do come along, if not to perform just sit back and enjoy the performances.
back for September on Fridays we have our LATE BAR..offering a chance to enjoy a lively night without the trip into town.... we have top Leeds DJ Harvey Westwood playing disco and old school dance music(very 90s) plus some current hits from 10pm till late.
